NBC cameraman with Ebola succesfully treated in Nebraska

Ashoka Mukpo will be returning home to Rhode Island

Another patient suffering from the deadly Ebola has fully recovered and is expected to leave his special treatment unit, according to the Nebraska Medical Center.

Ashoka Mukpo, a cameraman working for NBC news network has fully combated the virus and will be returning home to Rhode Island.

“The negative blood test confirmed by the CDC showed that Ashoka Mukpo no longer has a trace of the virus in his blood and is free to return home”, stated the Nebraska Medical Center.

It should be noted that Mukpo has been in hospital since the 6th of October after he caught the virus while covering the epidemic in western Africa, for the news. He is the second patient that recovers from the virus in the Nebraska Medical Center.
