A few weeks ago, a quarterly journal called Middle-East Review of International Affairs, specializing in Middle East issues, had published a report which showed that jihadists of the Islamic State used chemical gas to repel Kurdish Peshmerga fighters.

According to the same report, it is also likely that ISIS men used mustard gas against Kurdish soldiers in Syria.

This report confirms the claims made by BBC reporter Güney Yildiz who, citing reliable sources, said that chemical weapons were used by jihadists at Kobane.
