A 65-year-old German citizen arrested for espionage on the island of Kos has collaborated with the police and has admitted to his activities. Sources state that he was arrested at Pyli after he was caught taking photographs of the military outpost in the region.

Sources state that he confessed to gathering information about the island’s military installations and he detailed his activities, however he stressed that he was merely recording things that were in plain sight without entering people’s closets are gathering classified and top-secret information.

The man first drew attention to himself after he was seen photographing a car belonging to the Greek army at the military base. The police were immediately notified and the man was located on the same day.
