Equity prises rose on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 1.55 percent at 1,005.41 points at 11.00 a.m. and a turnover at 25.76 million euros.

Individual sector indices saw the biggest gains in Banks (up 3.18%), Oil (up 1.89%) and Financials (up 1.23%). The biggest losses were in Food & Beverages (down 0.41%) and Technology (down 0.19%).

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily-traded stocks increased by 1.67%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index also increased by 0.83%.
