Equity prices rose on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 1.27% at 1,003.91 points at 11:05 am and a turnover at 49.92 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks rose by 1.64%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index also rose by 0.55%.

All individual sector indices recorded a rise, with the biggest gains in Banks (+5.46%), Utilities (+3.74%) and Financials (+3.41%).

50 of the stocks traded went up, 9 went down and 5 remained unchanged.
