An exhibition with 50 personal items of the first president of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was inaugurated in the Turkish Consulate in Thessaloniki.
The Consulate is also the house where Kemal was born. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Director of Monuments and Renovation of the Ministry of Culture of Turkey S. Unlugedik.
Among the exhibits are objects of his personal life, like clothes, tobacco case, silverware and many more.
Effigies of Kemal and his mother are also placed at the designated area in the consulate.
