According to the readers of Conde Nast Traveler, a leading travel magazine, the idyllic island of Palawan in Philippines is the most exotic island on earth.

With over 76,000 votes, the small island was ranked 1st among the winners of Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards for 2014, mainly due to its amazing beaches and lush vegetation.

One of the Philippines’ 7,107 islands, Palawan is home to Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, which was chosen in 2011 as one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature.
