Google’s secretive artificial intelligence researchers have revealed computer that could be self-programing. DeepMind start-up developers at google bought the computer that works like a human brain for $400 million earlier this year. Described as a Neural Turing Machine it can learn as it stores memories and build on previous concepts just as a human mind.

The machine was created by British artificial intelligence/neuroscientist Demis Hassabis who is of Greek-cypriot descent. He loaded it with neural networks which make up half of the DeepMind’s computer architecture. The idea is to split process across a network of artificial “neurons” that can process input and pass it on so that these can learn to recognize pieces of data.
