The “hot” issue of red loans was the main topic of discussion between the Director of the Bank of Greece Mr. Yiannis Stournaras and the head of POTAMI Mr. Stavros Theodorakis.
Mr. Theodorakis stated that:” “Banks should stop financing businesses that have nothing to offer to the Greek population. That has to stop. POTAMI will submit a proposal about the issue.”
Referring to the 11.5 billion euro of theFinancial Stability Fund, the head of POTAMI stressed that the” financial reserves should be used for the economic recovery of Greece”, while he stated astonished with solutions proposed on the issue of red loans.
Next, the Director of the Bank of Greece Mr. Yiannis Stournaras will meet with the leader of DIMAR on the 13th of November.
