According to the Deputy Prime Minister in his interview to Cypriot newspaper “Kathimerini”  Greece and Cyprus have a common reaction strategy to Turkish provocations on the Cyprus EEZ issue.

Mr. Evangelos Venizelos stresses that the common strategy of Athens-Nicosia is on track to implementation but, as pointed out, “we must avoid repeating mistakes made in the past.” And above all, he notes, “Should in no way be a moratorium on the exercise of the sovereign rights of the Cypriot Republic.”

While the Greek Minister Foreign Affairs was asked if are any thoughts about the delimitation of the Exclusive Economic Zones of Greece – Cyprus, Mr. Venizelos replied that “there is nothing to announce”.
