A 36-year-old father in Northeast Delhi, India decided to take the law in his hands when a 45-year-old man allegedly raped his daughter, aged 14.

According to foreign media reports, the enraged father refrained from acting impulsively and carefully planned his revenge.

More specifically, two months after the incident, he invited the alleged rapist to his home for dinner. After their meal, the 14-year-old victim’s father strapped the alleged rapist to a chair, burned his genitals with heated tongs and strangled him to death.

He then turned himself in to the Indian police and gave a detailed account of the alleged rapist’s last meal and the torture session that followed it. He also told the police that his daughter told him about the rape the day it happened, but he did not report the crime fearing that she would be stigmatized.
