French TV Persona Nabilla Benattia has been detained since last night after stabbing her fiance many times in the chest.

Her fiance is in critical condition, according to the French press. “Closer” magazine states that Thomas Vergara is in the ICU after undergoing a hours-long surgical procedure. At the same time, Thomas has not yet sued his beloved, whom he loves still, according to French media. What transpired, however, that led Nabilla to stab him multiple times?

Nabilla, born of an Italian mother and an Algerian father stated to police that three men had attacked her fiance outside their hotel. However, this version is disputed by authorities who did not find any spots of blood on the scene.
