A second consignment of fresh plums was exported at the beginning of the week in India to implement special import license of 2.000 tones, while yesterday the first load of kiwis departed for the new market in Indonesia.

The special advisor to the Association of Greek Business Export Distribution of Fruit and Vegetable Juices INCOFRUIT – HELLAS Mr. Giorgos Polihronakis revealed the above, while also announced that kiwis during the season are also expected to be transferred in India.

Mr. Polihronakis made an appeal to the State i order to ” take all appropriate measures to facilitate the promotion of our exports of citrus, kiwi, apples, cucumbers, etc., in N. Korea, N. Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Brazil, Argentina and China (except kiwifruit)”.

Meanwhile, orange exports continued with satisfactory prizes.
