Egypt’s Greek community on Sunday outlined the most important problems facing the community of Greeks still living in Egypt in a joint memorandum to Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. Presidents of the Cairo and Alexandria Greek communities, Christos Kavalis and Yiannis Siokas, respectively addressed the problems of their communities. Among the major problems raised was that of pensions and health care, as well as tax matters, passport issues and Greek-language education in Egypt.
