Greece and Turkey are to hold a joint business forum at Izmir on November 12 with the participation of Turkish Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci and Greek Development Minister Nikos Dendias. A total of 243 participants from Turkey and Greece are to hold bilateral meetings with an estimated 538 gatherings on the sidelines of the event that aims to promote bilateral trade and enhance investment.
The main areas of the event focus the areas of food and agriculture, tourism, real estate, construction, building materials, shipping, transport and energy and marine and shipping.
The event is a bridge between both countries and will give them a chance to strengthen bilateral ties and forge new relationships with potential investors.
The event is held under the aegis of Turkey’s Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEIK), the Greek Embassy in Ankara and the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce and Industry are organizing the event together.
