Greek summer school for gifted students

Exams have begun for Anatolia's College gifted students program that is in its second year

CTY Greece of the prestigious Anatolia College in Thessaloniki has begun exams for charismatic children around Greece. The goal is to find gifted primary and high school students in southeast Europe. Anatolia College has new courses specifically designed for students of exceptional ability and love of learning. Its program for genius students premiered in the Spring 2014 period making it the first institution in southeast Europe catering to gifted children.

Exams for attendance of the gifted children’s program in Spring 2015 are held in Athens and Ioannina on November 22 and 23. The second round of exams are on January 17-18, whereas in Thessaloniki exams take place on December 20-21 and February 28 and a third round on March 1.

Exams are in Greek and English for high school students and Greek for primary school students, however the official language of the summer school program is in English.

Last year, 1,500 students were tested of which only 90 were selected.
