Apart from Napoleon’s hat, embroidered shoes worn by his son when he was baptized, and gloves left behind in a carriage after the battle of Waterloo are some of the historical items which will be auctioned off tomorrow.

According to CNN, these are around one thousand items connected to Napoleon and collected by Louis the 2nd, grandfather of Monaco’s Prince Albert, between 1895 and 1920. Now Prince Albert is auctioning them off to finance the renovation of his palace, as he stated.

The estimated price tag for these items is a total of 4-5 million euro.
