Watch Kate Upton as Greek goddess Athena in a Game Of War ad (Video)

Dressed in a revealing white dress, Upton struts through a chaotic battlefield

Newsroom November 17 06:33

Game of War, one of the most successful mobile games in the world, has selected supermodel Kate Upton to star in its first ad campaign that uses traditional media.

In the first of three spots that was released a few days ago, stunning Upton portrays the Greek goddess Athena, the shrewd companion of heroes and the patron goddess of heroic endeavour.

“It is fantastic to be instrumental in the start of a new era in gaming and communications,” the supermodel said, commenting on her role. “I love playing the part of Athena—she’s such a bad-ass character, commanding armies, slaying hydra, charging into battle—the work shows how much fun it is, and I am proud to be part of it.”

Machine Zone studio has spent approximately $40 million on the game’s global marketing campaign, according to sources. Dressed in a revealing white dress, Upton struts through a chaotic battlefield, inspiring the heroes to display courage and slay the monsters they are facing.
