Equity prices rose on the Athens Stock Exchange on Thursday with the basic share price index up 1.33% at 893.52 units at 11.00 a.m., and turnover at 7.32 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks rose by 1.16%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was also up 0.51%.

All individual sector indices were moving upwards with the biggest gains being in Real Estate (up 2.54%), Telecoms (up 2.52%) and Banks (up 1.77%).
