The favorite to many Italian destination despite the fact that relies for its income to tourists, the residents of the historic center react to the onslaught of travelers carrying their belongings in wheeled suitcases.

According to the initiative of the municipality of Venice next May is declared an embargo on such baggage in the center of the city, as it is extremely noisy and disrupting the sleep of the residents.

Italian media support that after the measure is passed, in a few months time all passengers will not be able to use wheeled suitcases, unless they have plastic wheels that make less noise.
