Following the success of his latest film, titled “What if…” which explored the issues of the butterfly effect and parallel worlds, Greek actor, director and writer Christopher Papakaliatis returns to the silver screen with a new movie on the theme of passionate love affairs between Greek and foreign nationals.

The famous Greek director has shared on Facebook photos from the shooting of the film, which will probably be released under the title “My sweetest springtime.” The movie will focus on the stories of three international couples which will evolve separately but have a common finale.

Actors from Syria, Europe and USA will join forces with the Greek protagonists of the film to tell a story that touches upon tough issues such as racism, prejudice and the real-life problems bi-cultural couples face.
