Deputy PM Venizelos to meet Erdogan in Turkey

Mr. Venizelos is scheduled to meet in Ankara with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and he will subsequently be received by Erdogan, in Istanbul.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos arrived in Ankara on Friday, November 28.

Mr. Venizelos is scheduled to meet in Ankara today, Saturday, 29 November, with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, and he will subsequently be received by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in Istanbul.

On Sunday, 30 November, Mr. Venizelos will attend the Thronal Feast of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, at which His Holiness Pope Francis will also be in attendance.
