An opinion poll conducted by Pulse PC for TV station Action showed a 4.5% lead of main opposition SYRIZA over ruling New Democracy in voting intention.
More specifically, 27.5% of the respondents said they were likely to vote for SYRIZA, followed by New Democracy with 23%, PASOK with 7%, To Potami with 6.5%, ultra-right Golden Dawn with 6%, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) with 5.5%, Independent Greeks (ANEL) with 3.5% and the Democratic Left (DIMAR) with 1%.
Responding to the question” who would be most suitable for prime minister”, 32% of the respondents stated they prefer Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, followed by SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras with 28%.
The nationwide poll was conducted in the period from Nov. 28-29.
