The luxury ferry, Fior di Levante, entered the port of Zakynthos at 5.15 p.m. Visitors had the chance to visit the ship and attend the special launching ceremony held in its honor. It is considered one of the best ships of its type. It is eyeing the world title of the most beautiful ferry ship.

Designed by Greek mechanics, the ship was constructed at the COSCO shipyards in China. It is 118.80 meters long and 20 meters wide. It’s depty is 4.75 meters underwater and can travel at 19.8 knots per hour.

It has a capacity of 1,140 passengers whereas the garage can fit 310 passenger cars or 32 lorries and 120 passenger cars.
