Greece’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has announced plans to install a simulator to help train air-traffic controllers at Athens International Airport. The CAA says the system will help certify that controllers are in accordance with European regulations. There will be a transitional stage until the acquisition of a new, comprehensive simulator. The program is still at the procurement phase.
