Blue Star Diagoras was the first ferry to arrive at Piraeus, Greece’s largest port in 2015.

To mark this special occasion, Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) presented the captain and the crew of the vessel with an honorary plaque on Thursday.

During the plaque presentation event, OLP Chairman Giorgos Anomeritis noted that 2015 is expected to be a significant year for Piraeus and its port, mainly due to two important events scheduled for May, i.e. the celebration of the European Maritime Day and the first European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) congress ever to take place in Greece.
