Move over Willy Wonka, Thessaloniki’s Chocofactory at Helexpo is a park filled with a tropical jungle of cocoa trees, Europe’s largest chocolate waterfall, chocolate artworks and sculptures such as the chocolate Acropolis.
There are science and cooking workshops and a museum teaching visitors about the origins of chocolate and how it came to be the popular treat it is today.
The Chocofactory is currently working within the framework of Thessaloniki’s holiday Asterokosmo (Starworld) festival that ends on January 7, however the Chocolate factory will continue to operate until March 6.
