According to the results of the latest poll conducted by the KAPA Research firm on behalf of the weekly “To Vima” newspaper, leftist SYRIZA party has increased its lead over center-right New Democracy to 3.1 percentage points.
Specifically, 31.2% of the respondents said they intend to vote for SYRIZA in the upcoming Jan. 25 elections, followed by New Democracy with 28.1%, To Potami with 5.4%, PASOK with 5.0%, the Communist Party (KKE) with 4.9, Golden Dawn with 4.7%, Independent Greeks (ANEL) with 2.7% and the newly established KIDHSO party led by former PM George Papandreou with 2.7%., i.e. below the 3 per cent of the general vote threshold mandated for Parliament representation.
