SYRIZA set to get 144 seats in the House, according to latest poll

35.5% of the respondents said they intend to vote for SYRIZA in the upcoming election

According to the results of the latest poll conducted by the Public Issue firm on behalf of Avgi newspaper, main opposition SYRIZA party is set to get 144 seats in the Greek parliament in the upcoming elections, i.e. less than the 150 required for any party to secure absolute majority.

More specifically, 35.5% of the respondents said they intend to vote for SYRIZA in the upcoming elections, followed by New Democracy with 30.5%, To Potami with 7%, the Communist Party (KKE) with 7%, Golden Dawn with 6.5%, PASOK with 5.0%, Independent Greeks (ANEL) with 3% and the newly established KIDHSO party led by former PM George Papandreou with 2%., i.e. below the 3 per cent of the general vote threshold mandated for Parliament representation.

It should be noted that a week ago, according to a poll conducted by the same company, SYRIZA was getting 151 seats.
