A Greek psychiatrist is included in the list of the 50 greatest living geniuses that was published by thebestschools.org website.
Greek physician and psychiatrist Evangelos Katsioulis possesses one of the world’s highest recorded IQs. Scoring a 205 on the Stanford-Binet scale, “he is noted for an intelligence largely unparalleled in the various fields where he has been a leader,” according to the site.
As explained in the article accompanying the list, the main criterion used for the selection of the 50 greatest living geniuses is their ability to shape their time and place. The site also notes that, because genius takes so many diverse forms, the geniuses listed are presented in alphabetical order, as “ranking them would be like comparing apples and astrophysicists.”
The list, compiled by experts who usually prepare best-of lists for colleges, reflects human genius in all its forms and includes scientists, artists, athletes and successful businessmen. Among the individuals who made the list are artist Banksy, martial artist Jackie Chan, director Joel Cohen, actor Stephen Fry, and Computer programmer Bill Gates.
