PASOK leader Evangelos Venizelos attacked former Prime Minister George Papandreou on Sunday, blaming him for costing the Panhellenic Socialist Movement the third place on Jan. 25 general elections.
Commenting on the election results, Mr. Venizelos said that PASOK got a “small and inadequate” percentage which is completely unsatisfactory and stressed that the blame for this “tragic” development belongs to George Papandreou.
Moreover, he stated that PASOK’s upcoming conference will focus on unity and that the leadership issue is open.
