Rage ensued at the socialist PASOK offices of Harilaou Trikoupi Street. As the first results were announced, deputies went to the executive office hall on Sunday night and pulled down the photograph of former socialist prime minister George Papandreou.
PASOK leader Evangelos Venizelos held a meeting where socialist deputies said that Mr. Papandreou’s decision to create the Democratic Socialist Movement (KIDISO) cost the party the third place in the elections.
