With his French counterpart Michael Sapen will meet on Monday the new Greek Minister of Finance Yanis Varoufakis, without however having determined the place of meeting as yet.

According to information by the Greek TV channel Mega, the French President Francois Hollande met today with the EU finance commissioner Pierre Moskovisi to discuss the Greek issue.

The two men have excluded the possibility of remission, but appeared ready to discuss of technical possibilities on restructuring, such as lower interest rates.

The French president appeared ready to discuss in a comprehensive manner the demands of Greece once he meets with the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
