Giannis Antetokounmpo, the budding Greek-Nigerian NBA star on the Milwaukee Bucks’ roster, took part in the hugely popular slam dunk competition during halftime at the NBA All Star Game on Sunday.

Giannis, a “human highlight film” aged only 20, attempted three dunks before a sold-out crowd at New York’s Madison Square Garden, but unfortunately, he missed all three tries, despite the cheering he got from six gorgeous… cheer-leading caryatids!

Although he didn’t win the contest, the talented player made his country proud once again, as a headliner of the event, a fan favorite.

Giannis even took a selfie with his brother Thanassis to remember this important moment in his promising career.
