Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his wife, Peristera Batziana, attended the Good Friday Epitaph procession at St. Catherine’s (Aghia Ekaterini) Church in the old quarter Plaka district in Athens. The Greek PM was accompanied by government spokesman Gavriil Sakellarides.

Greece’s reportedly atheist prime minister, who was sworn in office with a civil ceremony, did not fail to attend the procession, but was not accompanied by his two young sons.
