Macedonian daily Dnevnik reports that there is a conspiracy by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) to cover up the number of tourists arriving in Greece from Skopje (FYROM).
The statistics, according to the newspaper, purposely hide the number of tourists from FYROM, preferring to put these numbers in a separate category titled “Other European Countries”.
Dnevnik writes that 2,876,916 tourists went to Macedonia, northern Greece, from FYROM, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Moldova.
