On the last day of his visit to the U.S., Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is meeting in New York City on Friday with the UN Secretary General’s Personal Envoy for the FYROM name issue, Matthew Nimetz, at the Offices of Greece’s Permanent Representation to the UN.
Kotzias will then meet with Stanley Bergman and David Harris, the President and Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee, respectively.
The Foreign Minister also has a 10.30 a.m. scheduled meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, with statements to news media representatives to follow.
Kotzias will meet at 1.30 p.m. at the Archdiocese headquarters, with Archbishop Demetrios of America.
Finally, the Foreign Minister will attend a roundtable discussion, at the Council on Foreign Relations think tank, on the subject of the priorities of Greek foreign policy, and he will complete visit to the U.S. with a meeting, at the Greek Consulate General in New York City, with representatives of the Greek American community.
