The son of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Ergodan, Bilal, and the latter’s wife, will arrive in the northeast Greece city of Xanthi on Sunday to attend a Muslim religious ceremony in the nearby village of Echinos.
The report was disseminated on Friday by Turkish media.
The specific village, close to the border with southern Bulgaria, hosts a majority Pomak Muslim population, part of the Muslim minority in western Thrace.
Bilal Erdogan has recently been the object of scrutiny in neighboring Turkey, where his name has been linked to a major corruption scandal.
