Elvis Presley’s tour bus during his 1976 tour was sold on Saturday for 268,000 USD at a New York auction.
The bus, which can be driven legally on the road, even bears the King’s motto “Takin’ Care of Business”, and is equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave, a TV and speakers. It can transfer up to 12 people while it can accommodate 9 sleeping.
During the auction carried out by Julien’s Auctions, Elvis’ military uniform was sold for 48,000 dollars, and a vinyl disc with Presley’s song “Love me Tender” with a dedication to his beloved mother was sold for 125,000 USD.
