Shootout in Cretan hotel between armed robbers and Police forces

Near dozens of bystanders

Newsroom June 13 09:45

Two Greek and one Albanian criminals seem to have a rich criminal past. The three endangered the lives of innocent tourists and small children alike after shooting up the Creta Maris hotel in Crete.

One of the Greek perps who has been wounded by police shots, suffered a fractured thigh and extreme bleeding. Doctors at a nearby hospital, made a herculean effort to keep him alive. This is a convicted felon who seems to have been leading the other two. Out of said two, one was wounded on the forehead, and one on the shoulder.

An employee of the jewelry shop that the perpetrators were trying to “hit” was also taken to hospital after being wounded by a AK-47 stock hit on the head. He was taken hostage, initially, by the perpetrators, when they tried to escape. The brave hostage had managed to sound the alarm in the shop, which notified police special forces, who surrounded the hospital. The perpetrators then tried to break through by shooting their way out, and shots were fired near dozens of panicked tourists and children who were at the scene.
