The Guardian asked 100 Greeks what they would vote for and why on the country’s Sunday referendum. Angelino, a university student will vote “No” explaining that after 5 months of talks with Greece’s EU partners the Greek government has nothing more to negotiate. Katerina, a chemist will force herself to vote “Yes” as she says. “Unfortunately the rewards that are asked of the Greek people by the institutions to resume financial aid are unbearable”, she says. Athanasia, 50, will surprisingly vote “Yes”, despite being without work for 2 years. Sotiris, a PHD candidate in research will vote “No”. “Enough is enough”, he says, adding that the EU has become totally inflexible to people’s demands. “Greece should carefully ornganise its exit and proceed accordingly”.
