In a nail-biting final the Greek U-18 men’s national baseball team edged out Turkey (64-61) to win the Euro 2015 basketball championship at Volos. The Greek team showed great courage and determination to come from behind twice during the match. The Turkish team held the lead for most of the match but did not manage to hang on in the end. Vassilis Charalampopoulos once again led the Greek charge with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. He deservedly picked up the MVP trophy of the whole tournament.
