Greek spokesperson: Early elections not a priority yet…

Economic stability to be restored by end of year

Greek government spokesperson Olga Gerovasili said the government had no plans for early elections, speaking to Skai TV, Wednesday. She admitted that there clearly were issue regarding the government’s stability and whether it could govern smoothly. On the matter of elections, Gerovasili underlined that first and foremost there were goals and priorities that had to be reached before any talk of elections. She said that the Greek economy would return to stability by Christmas, according to statements by EU officials.
