Greece is not only a summer destination and this is confirmed by thousands of tourists who prefer Greece to spend their holidays during September.

According to booking website Trivago, most of the tourists who choose Greece for their autumn holidays come from Italy, Germany and UK.

Among their best holiday destination is Santorini followed by Chania and Athens.

The famous island Mykonos comes fourth and Chalkidiki comes fifth. Among the Ionian islands, Corfu is the top destination whereas a favorite tourist destination in Epirus is Parga.
