Political party leaders’ debate to be held on September 9

The debate will be hosted by the national TV channel ERT

A political party leaders’ debate will be conducted on Wednesday 9 September at 22.00 and will be hosted by the national TV channel ERT.

The debate coordinator will be a journalist of ERT TV channel, while journalists of private TV channels will submit their questions.

A second debate between SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras and New Democracy leader Evangelos Meimarakis will most probably take place on 14 September.

The debate among the political leaders will include three themes: economy, society-justice and immigration.
