Aegean Airlines has kicked off its new ‘Filepse tous’ campaign that revives the ancient Greek custom of giftgiving. The online campaign gives people living in Greece the opportunity to treat travelers to some Greek goodies as they make their way back home.
In this way, ordinary Greeks will be able to express their gratitude to people who have traveled so far to be in Greece and teach visitors the meaning of φίλεψε – a Greek small gesture of kindness and hospitality that has survived since ancient times.
