IMF Chief Christine Lagarde warned of the dangers facing the global economy during a speech at the Brookings Institute, Tuesday. Lagarde focused her attention low petrol prices, the fiscal policy of central banks around the world, as well as the slow-down of the Chinese economy in her speech. She warned that risks of a global economic decline were higher than before. According to Reuters, Lagarde pointed out that the normalization of fiscal policy poses great threats, due to the impact it would have on national currencies.
