A rescue operation is currently underway at the sea region between the islands of Kos and Kalolimnos to locate seven missing migrants.

The incident was reported by a fisherman who located a migrant in the water. The man said that he and seven more migrants were on a boat that capsized.

Three Coast Guard patrol vessels, an open sea vessel and a Super Puma helicopter are searching the area to locate the missing migrants.
