French President Francois Hollande’s visit in Athens overshadowed the meeting between the Greek government and the representatives of the four institutions who came in Athens to review the progress in the implementation program.
Therefore, the government gained some time, since the negotiations will end earlier than it was expected.
What was confirmed, though, was that every issue is still open. During the short negotiations, the delegate of the institutions did not accept anything, they just posed questions and listened to what the government had to say.
The representatives of creditors will give a new list of prior actions to be implemented until they come back on November 10. If everything goes well then, the representatives will write a positive review which will pave the way for the disbursement of the tranches.
