Footage of a social experiment shows a woman being ‘groped’ in a fake assault on a train with other passengers rushing to help her, as posted in Daily Mail.
The woman actress is filmed standing on a packed tube carriage in London, when a male actor starts brushing up against her in front of other passengers.
She tells the man: ‘Can you not touch me, you know that’s sexual assault. Excuse me, you can’t be doing that.’
As the woman gets more and more distressed, she turns to two men discussing business for help.
Finally more passengers rush to help her and as the situation grows tense, the woman is then forced to tell the men that it’s a ‘social experiment’ to avoid things escalating any further.
The pair then risk a backlash from commuters, with one saying: ‘That’s a bit f****** stupid then.’
Trying to defuse tensions, the woman tells the passengers that ‘This was a social experiment’.
‘We are trying to raise awareness of sexual assault on trains because a lot of the time people see it happening and nobody says anything,’ she said.
